42 The Calls Hotel is committed to ensuring that its operations take into account the possible impacts on the environment.

42 The Calls will work towards:

• Operating the Business in an environmentally sensitive manner by conserving energy, water and natural resources.
• Purchasing environmentally friendly materials when appropriate. Local suppliers are always sought first to ensure the overall carbon footprint is reduced. Suppliers will also be reviewed to ensure they have environmentally friendly policies in place.
• Raising the awareness of staff so that everyone may be involved
• Reducing Energy Usage by increased Energy Efficiency. By the end of 2011 we aim for the hotel to replace all light bulbs with energy saving lights, insulating all windows to save on heating, stop all taps from leaking to save water.
• Re-Using or Recycling Waste when possible. All paper & cardboard is currently recycled throughout the hotel operations.
• Using raw materials in a manner that reduces waste

42 The Calls will aim for Continuous Improvement and will continue to update its Environmental Statement every twelve months.
